the MX-R Twenties arrived last Monday. Had them burning all weekend. They are probably still burning in. My new power cables for them aren't in yet - I ordered two Shunyata Sigma HC PC's for them. Using some Shunyata Venom 3's I had laying around.

The MX-R's are impressing me, deeply. Yes, the bass is deeper. It also has better pitch and tonality, it's not just more "low" sounds. I hear more of a soundstage than I did with my VX-5. Huge wow.

I will post more impressions when the power cables arrive, and I have some burn in time.

I have read a few posts wondering if the upgrades are worth doing and no posts saying it was not worth doing. While the cost to up grade is not pocket change it is a big change the KXR and MXR just look the same as the 20s the sound is much better.
I wonder how they compare to say a soulution it would be interesting.
