Everything I currently own I built myself. Right from the server to the speaker. Cables are all Neotech/Furutech UPOCC with Furutech connectors.
 
So i guess you dont have an issue with Class-D tonalility ? Devialet seems to be the only one i have heard with good Timbre, then again i have not heard Bruno's latest and greatest and in no way am i locked into any amplifier topology, what works, just works , havent had it happen with Class-D as of yet ...

There's a reason I came up with the concept that Nord uses for their Ncore based amps. Choose whatever flavour floats your boat. And if you're into hearing what the studio intended choose the SIL994.

If you get the base version with the stock Hypex IC opamp based buffer and single supply it's similar. But not if the buffer concept I came up with is used. However I still haven't seen the measurement data or heard the latest revision myself to confirm the results match mine.
 
You should send Mike a pr to audition , freight should be peanuts and There's already half the industry under one roof to give them ago in multiple configurations ....
 
Hmmmm... Bel Canto, Jeff Rowland, Wyred 4 Sound, Nord, etc., etc. sell some dam fine car audio... I guess The Absolute Sound gave three of Wyred 4 Sound amplifiers 2016 Editor Choice Awards for making car amplifiers? Dam I did not know EJ designed car amplifiers :D.... I will have to ask him about this... that circuit board he showed me today was for a car stereo... I would have never guessed :).... I thought the Statement Series were home amplifiers... color me surprised :snicker:.

Well the problem with the Nords is they would have a MSRP of triple if they were sold through a typical distributor/dealer network. So not really fair.
 
Has anyone heard the Rowland stuff ? Jeff went from requiring dollies to move his amplifiers to class-D pocket modules ... :)
