Can you come here and help me? Please.

Here's our work for day one:

Mike, I am just messing with you. Didn't mean to push (except a bit), but am interested to get your view as someone might take the Meitner off my hands soon.

It is really incredible how much you have achieved in such a short time, kudos for that. Unfortunately I know what is in those boxes and the work you have to put in to get them installed. I did it for one relatively small room earlier this year and each wall took almost a day. In that sense I am not envying you, but I can assure you that each single panel will pay you back big time.

If I would live in the US, I might actually come to help. Compensation would be hearing some of the best gear on this planet in a proper environment. Absolutely worth the time.

But luckily I have this lame excuse of not being a good enough swimmer to just quickly swim over (and that I am currently finishing a paper for my PhD, which kinda keeps me busy).

Of course man! It's all fun. I'm starting on the panels on Monday. Three rooms. Vicoustics gave me "good, better, best" options. Of course I had to go for "best" for all three.

There were 3 giant skids (the pic above shows two of the three).

Mike, how do you know what you need ? Does Vicoustics do room analysis before you order ?

That is some serious Viscoustics order! Cool!

Amazing, that's really quite a bit to glue.

I am very interested in the QX-5, as there are very few DAC's that have direct network access and can run Roon or JR over a network-based system. Only issue I have with the Ayre is that the ethernet abilities are limited in comparison to the USB. It would be almost perfect if the ethernet connection could accept all types of files, to include the highest resolution PCM and DSD. But alas, that is only possible via USB.

Kevin, come on over for a listen. It's really something else.

Does anyone know if Ayre has weighed in and promised MQA for the QX-5 Twenty now that MQA seems to be a reality?
