Anyone have experience with AVM from Germany? Looks to be pretty decent gear at a good price-point like the Hegel. ($4790)

This one caught my eye,

We've got "for a while CD5.2" ( AVM Evolution CD5.2 ) and A5.2 integrated. CD is much, much better than amp. Even with "easy" loudspeakers like Davis Acoustics MV One or Odeon No.28 sound was rather flat and without expected emotions. Roksan Oxygene sounds much more musical with bigger and more impressive sound.
 
I have the AVM Evolution C9 CD receiver Integrated Amp paired with Gauder Akustik RC3
bookshelf speakers. Its a great combination. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post a Youtube link of my system.
