With Duo Omega I tried many amps, at least 10 of them .
Still prefer Ayon Crossfire III and for now I do not plan to change it, it's a keeper.

Here is my ranking :
1. Amare Musica - Trinity monoblocks + pre De Forest
2. Ayon Crossfire III ( have had before Ayon Crossfire I and II )
3. XA combo - pre plus power
4. Integrated XA
5-7 Power XA with pre section of La Fontaine ; Monoblocks Trinity controlled from La Fontaine; Power ARC Ref 150 / pre La Fontaine
8-10 ASR Emitter II ; SPEC RSA-M3EX, Leben 1000 P / pre La Fontaine
11. Accuphase E550

The best amp I auditioned at home was hybrid design by Einstein - The Ultimate amp but its gain is too high for AG.
 
The Crossfire III use an AA62 tube. Unless I'm mistaken, that's a slightly modified version of the 300b. 300b amps are what I'm using.
 
You are absolutely right, A62 B is a more powerfull version of 300 B made by Ayon in Czech Republic. 2 years ago they introduced the new recti 5u4g which is outsanding imo , highly recommended

I love their 32b tubes, and 62 is even higher. They are like 300b on steroids.

Hi Mike,

I apologize for the late reply but I have nothing new to report.
Last 10 days was abroad, before the vacation I was very busy at work, now back to audio and ... moto.
Season open , my good old friend born in 1994, only 8750 kms, not for sale:)

Maybe you are just curious & want to compare settings?

Not sure if it would apply at all to your entirely different room/system, not to mention different room resonances - IMO, it’s far preferable to set it by ear, to YOUR taste.

More work, more musical rewards...
