Any of you owning Aurender ever compare it to anything, in regards to the digital output sound quality?

I was looking at the ACS10.
 
I briefly owned a used ACS10 and after listening to it and comparing it to the Lumin U1, I went back to my Lumin U1 and streaming from a Lumin L1 NAS. I sold the ACS10 as I preferred the sound of the Lumin to the Aurender ACS10.
 
Use a Mac/Windows and DBPowerAmp for ripping.

Innuos was on my radar but their app won't be out until fall. One of the driving forces to stream is to be able to access my music easily. Apple has Voice Over that allows me to read the screen. I think Innuos currently use Play-fi which I've heard is having a lot of issues.

Mike, I was looking for a more one box simple solution. I really don't want to use a computer.

Projectman, do you not use the 585 DAC? Do you like the PSA better?

Also, I see you use the M10, interestingly, I tried the M50.2. I can't put it into words but I'm just not happy with the sound into my DAC. I get plenty of detail, something is not allowing my brain to accept the sound as natural. I am at a loss to find an adjective for my dissatisfaction. I was wondering if that's it or maybe another brand may be better. I hate to think I gave up my disc spinner to and end up in a backward move.

Lumin doesn't quite have what I'm looking for in one box. Peter has been great with helping guys here but honestly a lot of the instructions goes over my head. I am not a computer geek. I enjoyed talking to Lee and the Lumin guys at their room.

The M50.2 has everything I wanted, I just didn't expect not to be satisfied by the digital output of all things.

It’s an amazing all in one unit. Just gorgeous sonically and visually. The screen is awesome. Sonics are superb. But if no DAC needed, go acs10.
 
The 585 has a very good DAC, but I really haven't used it since I like the PSA Directstream DAC. I should do a better comparison between the two DACs. I'm downsizing my home office system drastically. I work from home full time, but the system I had was overkill. I decided on the NAD M10 to use with my KEF LS50s. I bought it used so saved some money, and It sounds very good and gets used for background music while I work. I don't need the big Esoteric I-03 or the Sony HAP-Z1 anymore with the M10. My home office is a spare bedroom about 11' X 11' so the previous equipment was overkill and selling the pieces will free up some cash.
 
I learned Stereo Haven here carries Aurender. Charlie brought an ACS10 to my house. What an astonishing audition/experience. First, that just a digital output can make that much difference and second the ACS10 is amazing sounding.

The ACS10 uses USB where the NAD didn't have USB, AES/BU was it's best output.

The improvement with the ACS10 was huge, night & day, just transformed my system.

As a side note, he likes matching the ACS10 with the Exogal DAC ($3500.00) but I spent so much time listening to the ACS10 we didn't get a chance to hook up the DAC.
