Another week of very few releases showing up on Tidal. A family member let me in on their Spotify family plan. I remembered seeing Spotify as an option in Conductor. So I'm like cool I'll give it a try and see if I can find more music.
Sidenote, Chat/AI saved me. You'll see
I set up the account on my phone, Use AI to find the audio settings, Lossless engaged I play some music through a second system while working out. AI DJ is a cool feature on Spotify. I still don't see a dedicated new release on the app like Tidal.
Now I want to see how Spotify sound on my main system. First surprise my ACS10 does not have Spotify set up in Conductor like Tidal and Qobuz, to my surprise the ACS10 has Spotify Connect. Found this out through AI after having difficulty figuring out how to get started.
Ah, now to sit back and see how Spotify sounds. I did set up my app on my iPad and selected Lossless. Well....... this isn't sounding so good, not horrible but I could tell it isn't as good as Tidal. So I go into settings again to make sure my selection saved. Well guess what, there's a line that says your device is not compatible with Lossless. What?
So back to AI again. Sure enough the ACS10 is not compatible for Lossless using the Spotify Connect. I think the A1000 is. I need to contact Aurender support to see what's up with this, whether it can be fixed with firmware or if it's a hardware limitation.
For free I can still keep Spotify on my phone to see if I find any new music then look it up on Tidal. Should be interesting.
