Auralic goes belly up

There really aren’t any/many left. I can’t think of any to be honest. Wilson has changed. They were one of the last hold outs.

That's good to know things are changing. Some years back a dealer told me he wanted VPI and was given a large dollar first time buy in. I can see a company wanting a dealer to do right by their product but you also have to be flexible.

Ayre
NAGRA (rumor)

Kind of hard to believe ARC and CJ are still around.

Noooo.... not Nagra, I'd hate to see that. Good stuff. I hope not Ayre either but that is believable as I haven't heard much out of that camp since Charlie passed.

I don't know much about Nagra except I was smitten by one of their set ups using Stenheim

Didn't ARC just got out of bankruptcy last year or so? I'm suprised Spectral still in business. Nowdays there is hardly any mentions of their products.

Same can be said about CJ. hardly any buzz about their group.

CJ pops up on Facebook occasionally. One of the original owners has been doing a series on past iconic models for CJ.

ARC has recently released some new products. A solid state pre and power and a couple more affordable pieces. I haven't heard how those are doing. I think they've been shown but no idea if on the street.

Many of these companies have one thing in common, one or two main people behind the wheel. It's important these companies plan ahead of time for the, whit if.
