AudioQuest USB Coffee Break-in Question

I recently purchased a 1.5m length of AQ USB Coffee to run between my Aries G1 streamer and Bryston BDA-3 DAC. Some qualities of the cable I am immediately drawn to -- bass seems much tighter and controlled. However, the treble feels veiled; I feel like I am missing the "presence" and "delicacy" that was there before I swapped in the cable (and the cable I swapped out was a $15 USB A->B I bought from the local computer megastore). To be fair, I have less than 10 hours of use with the new cable.

My questions are two-fold for those familiar with this cable:

1) Am I the only one who heard this quality in the new cable?
2) Will burn-in help to alleviate this quality? If so, how many hours did it take before this went away?

I'm willing to put in the time, but I also want to be realistic in case this cable turns out to not be a good fit for my system.

Give it about 100hrs of burn in before you make a decision. USB cables are very system dependent.

I am not familiar with the Coffee USB. I do own a AQ Carbon USB. Give you cable more burn it time.

Maybe it takes 150-200 for us to get used to the way the new cable sounds..... Thinking it's broken in... I think it's half and half....

There’s that school of thought, sometimes I do scratch my head especially when my non reference gear doesn’t have that problem
