AudioQuest Pegasus vs. Thunderbird Interconnects

Hello all,

Has anyone auditioned the above? I know the Pegasus is relatively new. The TBird is roughly 2x the cost of Pegasus. Trying to determine the cost/performance benefits.

We have here at Suncoast Audio. The Thunderbird are the ones to go with. I bought a bunch for my system and the store. Fantastic sounding. More tonal density than the Pegasus.

Have you compared Tbirds to Firebirds? I believe the main difference is copper vs. silver. Many moons ago, silver had a reputation for being a little "hot." Have things changed?

Yes and Pegasus. Unless your speakers are rolled off, I prefer Thunderbird or go all silver with Dragon. Give me a call if you’re thinking of getting some.
