My team is having fun doing a shootout between the Nordost QNET with QSource Linear PSU, Network Acoustics (with Linear PSU) and the Reiki Audio SuperSwitch with Linear PSU.

These are clearly the top performers in the market today.

Mike this is a bridge too far for me.......Power cables making a difference was my last big hurdle. Switches are what my grandmother chased me with as a kid........

I've also found there is never a "one answer is supreme". More than any other audio topic, I've personally found the digital journey to be among the most user/set up/wiring in the walls and ground specific to your personal set up.

Oh yeah the isolation fiber can provide is real. So many streamers and digital devices coming equipped with SFP interfaces. My understanding of packet switching and how data travels in the TCP/IP world gives me pause of "better" switches. I truly believe aliens gave DARPA that to us.

I gave up on the Ethernet switch arms race when I got the Digital Director for my MSB Premier DAC. The DD does any needed “correction” to timing, etc, and then sends the signal across the “isolating” fiber link. (Recently replaced with a DAC unit with good effect).

The UpTone Audio etherRegen, which worked great before the Digital Director, now is no different than standard hub/switch.
