Audio interface with 10 outputs

Hi everyone
I have a project where I need to connect my laptop to 10 different guitar amps.
My idea is to buy an audio interface with 10+ outputs (I don't really care about inputs)

For example, I found those :
- Behringer UMC1820 (10x 6.3 mm jack line outputs (1 + 2 monitor output L/R))
- Tascam Series 208i (2 Balanced TRS main outputs with front level control + 6 Balanced TRS outputs + 2 Stereo headphone outputs)
- ESI U108 PRE (8 Balanced line outputs: 6.3 mm TRS + Stereo monitor outputs: 2x 6.3 mm jack + Headphone output: 6.3 mm jack)

My question is, with this kind of audio interface, can I send a different audio signal to each output channel at the same time? I guess(and hope) the answer is yes. But I really need to make sure about it before buying anything

Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcom to Audio Shark.

If I understand your question the answer is, no.

With only one input you could not send more than one different feed to any of the ten outputs.

It sounds like you need a mixer which would allow multiple inputs and outputs, and should allow you to direct where the signal paths would go.

Most of us here are home audio enthusiasts you may get some better info on a musician type forum.

Thanks for the answer, but maybe I wasn't super clear.
I don't need any input. The idea is to play some wave files from my laptop and send them to the different outputs of the audio interface.
I'm using puredata to do that.
I've already done the same thing for years with a 4 output channels audio interface (2 stereo outputs)
I just want to make sure that I can send a different audio signal to each output at the same time (so each of the 10 amps plays a different thing)

Yes, if your laptop playback software is multichannel (DAW) then you can send as many separate channels to as many physical outputs that you have. They have software mixers.

If you're still looking for a interface I have one I'm about to give away. Presonus Firepod has 10 channels. Maybe the last two are headphone. You have to read up on it to see if it's 10 discreet analog channels or if two are SPDIF, but then you could use a dac on the last two. It's not high end SQ output, but it's decent. The inputs are much better.
