Hello

Recently I have noticed when streaming Qobuz (my only source for digital playback) music will stop in the middle of a track. The time counter on the Lumin will continue, but no sound. If I don't do anything, the music will pop in and out.

In order for me to temporarily fix this issue, I need to hit Pause and then hit Play. The Lumin app with think for a second and then resume until the issue pops up again.

I have used the D1 and T2 for many years and never had this issue..what can be causing this to happen?

Thanks in advance.

BTW If someone has a suggestion to remedy this or is going through the same issue...please post here. Thanks

Please power cycle the Lumin.

If it occurs again, please try a different setting of Google DNS in Lumin app About your Lumin hardware.

Power cycle did not work. I will try the Google DNS thingy....btw this is for the Lumin U2. I do not currently have the D1 or T2.

Google DNS is either on or off...how do I try different settings on the U2? Or is on and off the settings you are referring to?

I have occasional sound dropouts too, but the sound resumes after a few seconds. I've established this is not a streamer fault, but a network one.

Do you use Windows 11? Since switching from reliable and "sensible" Windows 7, I find that one feature with Win 11 that I detest is One Drive. It S - L - O - W - S the PC to crawling speed and causes dropouts on my streamer music. Pause Synching immediately resolves the problem - at least until next day or after a period of PC "sleep". Also, I dislike the notion that Google seems to be copying all my files and photos.

If using Win 11, consider pausing its synching feature for a while to see if that sorts the problem. I guess this may apply to any PC that has a One Drive type of facility.
