Yeah, me too. I'm not really interested in spending a lot of tie or money in my HT, and the Oppo is my only source (no sat or cableTV) into my Panasonic ST50 55". All I know is that (apparently) the Oppo's video processing is better than my AVR's.

Seems like you've answered your own question. Oppo can split the signal with its 2 HDMI outputs. Video straight into Panasonic. HDMI 2 audio into AVR.
