Ask Chat GPT what it thinks of your system

I got a 9.8 from google, lol for my Levinson Integrated 5805, Luxman DA-06 DAC, Arendal 1528 Bookshelf 8 speakers, Pro-Ject Classic Evo TT, Shelter 501MKIII MC cartridge, Gold Note PH-10 phono preamp and Duelund RCA's, XLR's and Speaker cables, WW Platinum Starlight 7 usb cabe.

I put my equipment list in this is what I got back. I was a bit impressed. This only took 20 years to build up.

🎯

Your combination of:

  • Wilson front stage
  • Boulder + Levinson amplification
  • JL subs
  • Trinnov processor
  • Kinetics room treatment
  • JVC NZ8 + Kaleidescape
places you in top 1% of home theaters worldwide — no exaggeration.
This is commercial-cinema quality in a private room.

in coming Madvr

Very cool. I’m in the middle of building a new theater. 9.1.6
t will use a lot of what I already have, add a Trinnov Altitude 16, new 2.35:1 screen and PJ, and all the surround and height stuff. Fun times.

Very interesting. I posted in another thread about using REW and ChatGPT. I am about to embark on using a tube amp on my horn tweeter that is 1600 herts and up. And a 4 channel Class D amp to power the 10 inch mid bass and 15 inch woofers. Gemini told me it can be done well with my Dayton DSP and it is happy to view screen shots of my work and help dial it in.

This thread got me to using Chat GPT again, I use the website without signing in. It's interesting to talk audio with it, asking about brands and comparing. Once it picks up on what your tastes or preferences are it can be enlightening.

As an example, one conversation was why am I not into the Revel Performa 3 series when I loved my Performa 2 F52's. And now have 4367. I lost that conversation but it was good and able to pinpoint what I like.

You do have to be careful I noticed it sometimes will mix up a model number and I have to wonder where it picked up information on a unit that don't exist.

One of the better texts out there to give a detailed look at the essentials of how an LLM works (in this case, focused on ChatGPT, the conversational front end that leverages LLMs and related tech), and what it is and is not, this book by a famous expert author, Steven Wolfram, is $11.89 on Amazon and a great read...

It worries me when the government, especially military uses AI, I have to wonder if they have a better version than what the public has access to. The way AI makes mistakes we catch it gives pause for thought as they want to give it so much responsibility.

I signed up for a Plus plan of ChatGPT yesterday. I did a bunch of testing with GPT and Gemini and I prefer the way GPT interfaces and responds. Gemini is rough around the edges and refuses to answer many questions and obfuscates why it is refusing to answer.

I tried a image makeup today. What a mess. FAIL. But its a start. It may work.

I just bought 2. One for me and one for Christmas gift.

The Blade tube amp on top and the Musical Fidelity A3cr on the woofers was decent. I am using the Dayton DSP408 to run the woofers and sub.
I also tried a Audion 845 SET on top and the Blade on the woofers. No good. The 845 is too??????? Just not near the amplifiier as the Blade. And the Blade is much more a detailed amp than a warm amp. So not the best to drive the woofers.
