Armed Carjacker meets Armed Citizen

That would certainly cut down on carjackings. :)

A wise man once told me (and he will know who he is), you mess with a bull - you'll get the horns.

It serves the carjacker right.

I hope the car owner didn't sprain his finger pulling the trigger.

The only question I have is that it looks like the owner has his gun out the window before the carjacker even points his gun.

I think that was just his hand trying to push the carjacker away while giving himself time to pull his own gun. It's a little fuzzy.

You're right. His left hand comes out first, then his right with the gun as he shoots him in the side.

It's amazing but it happens so fast. You just never know.

Same here; I agree.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. ;)

Gary, your sense of observation is very accurate!

* Can we deduct a conclusion from that?

Freeze the right frame, enhance it, zoom it, and it becomes very interesting.

* The hand of the car's owner was outside his window even before the carjacker could make a move!
...Just like if he could have predicted what was going to happen!

I kept playing it and freezing many frames; seems like you're right.
But boy was he quick or what to have his hand out and pushing back the carjacker! ...He must have seen him in his side rearview mirror.
His instinct was super quick! ...And then to draw his gun only a second after!

Also, that third individual (in black) appearing for two seconds with his reaction! ...Strange.

It's like that the car's owner was already on the lookout for eventual enemies.

I wonder if the guy with the Jeep did not have his window open. Could he have started the car and drive away without the carjacker shooting at him?

Joe! What fun would that be? Geez, give a shooter a break... :D
