Yes, I need to. To summarize it falls short of the apogees in bass and dynamics, it is more consistent as different apogees are different. The US ones modded by the distributor are good. The midrange can actually be better than the smaller apogees, but bass and dynamics while nice, when you hear a Trio or Alexandria or a well set up cone with sub, you will know the difference. With an Apogee, that will never happen. But some Apogee set ups have disappointed, while Analysis set ups have been more consistent. If one wanted chamber and vocals, I would take these. Good Apogees will also do rock, electronica, orchestral well.

I like them better than Maggie's. They are not small though. And omega need duetta space and amphitryon needs full range space. They have one with bass panels added to the amphi but only one model with US distro which I haven't heard

Great write-up? I read the following paragraph three times before giving up on divining any meaning from it:

"I directly put in the Mendelssohn, and switched to the Aries for the compare. I had found the Lampi much superior to the Nagra with the EML special Lampi Globe Anniversary 45s, so here I had used those 45s. If anything, the Aries was marginally better – Michel sitting at my side could not hear the difference, but I accepted it."

While it looks like english, it doesn't read like english.
