Audiophiles in lycra.....Do you think there's a market?
Oh sure , Lycra is the next Audiophile catch word. I hear the sound just flows off your body allowing you to hear those midrange and bass notes just a little bit better and lets not forget the safety helmet to go with your outfit as it lets the sound cascade around your head with minimal interruptions
I've heard rumors that Mike wears a complete biking outfit during his A/B sessions.![]()

Mike, is that you?

MAMIL... Guilty as charged. Funny article, and I've heard said cycling is the new golf.
After a decade of walking around flogging a little white ball, at four+ hours per outing (+ half-hour before to loosen up and hit a few balls, and after to replace trace minerals at the 19th hole) my wife and I noticed we weren't getting any fitter so we both got back on the bike and ride regularly. Whether or not I look good in lycra is another matter. And around here I don't sport the requisite grey beard. Old dudes on bikes, ODOBs!
I truly love riding, but I can't justify spending any serious money on a bike.
Ain't that the truth. Even as a single digital handicapper, I've always said: golf is the only sport where you are in worse shape after you play than before.
I play hockey three times a week (including a rare invite to practice with the Lightning last weekend), ride at least once a week, and elliptical or treadmill in between.
Haha!
Nope, I bike with Russell athletic shorts and a T-Shirt. I only started wearing a helmet the past few months after my neighbor got sent flying on his bike by a driver who was texting while driving.
I truly love riding, but I can't justify spending any serious money on a bike. I want to ride on sidewalks (I hear the serious bikers gasping), because I believe that's where bikes belong for the safety of everyone. I doubt anyone will agree with me though.
Mike….There's something about Canadiens and lycra.
