I would look at Vac Phi 200 for tube as KT88s are much more flexible than 120s. I also prefer the no feedback design vs the Ref 75.

Well...I wouldn't go for monos (though I'd love the power); but I'd love an XA-30.5. My 2 experiences with class-A...first, a Cayin 265Ai IA, and then the sweetest First Watt M-2...were great. I just worry...big picture...about not quite enough juice.

Every time I hears about the Rogers EHF-200 MkII, it is, 1. always very positive, 2. increasing my interest exponentially. I too would put that beauty on your radar, great recommendation!! Bring on the 150's baby, "YEAH"!!!

Joe, I'm starting to think the same to where I may put off my next purchase awhile & see where the knowledgeable will lead us on this one in review. "Mike! Hurry up & audition one already!!"
 
I'm going to be interested in seeing how these KT150 tubes do. I was speaking with a tube amp designer today and he said the specs on the KT150's aren't that great - from a designers standpoint.

Mine come next week. This is great. We can compare notes. I still think that the Ref 75 would be the better choice.

Mc 225 if you ask Jerome. Between those two ARC. Maybe think about MC275?
