App Problems

Is anyone else having LUMIN App issues today(Sunday)?
I have been unable to open my app all day. I have rebooted both my S1 & M1, deleted & redownloaded the app & still can’t get it to open.
Any thoughts?

No I have been listening to music all morning streaming Tidal, via my ipad. From 8:30 and still going

It too is loaded on an IPad. The same one that worked fine yesterday and for the last couple of years. I’m not sure what my next step should be. Hoping Peter Lie “wklie” sees this and suggests something to help.
 
With the Lumin's and iPad turned off re-boot the router if you haven't and then turn on the Lumin then the iPad. Let each completely boot up before turning on the next piece. If using a switch or extender do them before the Lumin too.
 
I use it on the iPhone, and no issue. I just opened the iPad version, and it is okay. You have an interesting problem.
 
Please power down the Lumin devices and iPad, power cycle the router and switches (if any), wait for 5 minutes, then power up again.
 
I will try rebooting all devices as per your suggestions tonight when home from work.

If your not using fixed IP address especially this can happen periodically if your ISP does a reset or an update and the IP address' get changed causing the devices to look in the wrong place for each other. This sequence will usually fix most all problems. I had to do it on Friday when we had a brief outage and reset. Glad it worked out for you.
 
Okay, it is working but it came back using firmware version 6.1.2 (on both players) but it lists a date of 12/20/2017. I looked at the Lumin website and it looks like that version was from approximately mid 2015. Any idea how I can get back to current firmware?
 
If your talking about hardware firmware turn the unit off wait a few minutes and it should find the current version when you turn it back on. 6.1.2 is the current version of the app.

Got it, right.
Being without Lumin for a Day has thrown me for a loop.

Glad it is okay now. I hate weird software problems. Just today both of my iPads had no wifi, but the iPhone was okay. I tried to add the wifi network, but the router said the password was wrong. WTF??? I was about ready to go ballistic on Comcast, but power cycled the router first. After that everything worked. Usually, that strange crap happens to me on a Friday night. :)
