I am so tired of this app crashing on iPhone 7 regardless of the IOS version. It crashes just sitting there as songs change on random shuffle. Is there any way to collect debug info to send to Lumin to help stabilize the app?

I too am experiencing random crashing of the app (version 6.0.13). I am running on iOS 11.0.3 and 9.3.5.

Here is how to collect diagnostic info on apps...

[h=3]Getting Crash Logs Directly From a Device Without Xcode[/h]Your users can retrieve crash reports from their device and send them to you via email by following these instructions.
(It is not possible to get device console logs directly from a device)
1) Open Settings app
2) Go to Privacy, then Diagnostics & Usage
3) Select Diagnostics & Usage Data
4) Locate the log for the crashed app. The logs will be named in the format: <AppName>_<DateTime>_<DeviceName>
5) Select the desired log. Then, using the text selection UI select the entire text of the log. Once the text is selected, tap Copy
6) Paste the copied text to Mail and send to an email address as desired

Bud,

Have you heard from Peter or anyone from Lumin regarding the app crashing?

Thanks

No. I don't mind gathering the log files and sending them off if it helps make the app more stable. However, I suspect Apple is part of the problem. :)

Based on the log files it appears to be the Lumin controller app. I have sent the debug info to Lumin. Hopefully we will get a response soon.

This doesn’t appear to apply to IOS 11. Still looking for Diagnostics and Usage.

I have zero issues with my iPad and LUMIN app and they are all up to date. It did take a couple of tries to upgrade the last LUMIN upgrade but other than nothing.

Do you mean that it crashes more on iOS 11?

Peter,

On my iPad 2,2 I am running iOS 9.3.5 and Lumin app 11.0.13. Ever since I upgraded to Lumin app 11.0.13 I experience multiple crashes per day. I submitted the debug info to Lumin's support email address yesterday.

Thanks

Something seems a miss, maybe a typo . The latest Lumin app is 6.0.13 and the latest firmware load is 10.0b.

Also for those that might not know, : On June 13, 2016, following the release of iOS 10, Apple dropped support on the iPad 2 due to hardware limitations. The same goes with the iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Mini (1st generation), making iOS 9 the final version supported on the device. Nothing like having to buy a new Ipad.

Sorry about my typo... Here is my current setup;

iPad 2,2 running iOS 9.3.5
Lumin A1 running firmware 10.0b
Lumin app 6.0.13

The crashes started when I updated the Lumin app 6.0.13.

Thanks

While we investigate the logs, please cut power to Lumin player, power cycle your WiFi router, wait for 5 minutes, then power up the Lumin and reboot your iPad.

Anyone know how to get these logs off of an iPhone running 11.1.1?

iPad works okay, but I prefer the size of the iPhone over the iPad Mini.
