Hmm... BNC... AFAIR, the Auralic Aries has BNC our, as well as the top end Aurenders... But not many others, I think...

No BNC on the Aries and I just checked the back of mine to be sure. The Siltech cable could be terminated on the streamer end though.

That is true. It has a lot of ports, and I thought I remembered seeing a BNC there, but you're right! Very few units do BNC indeed...
 
Melco N1A (USB + Ethernet outputs) with Singxer SU-1 (BNC / RCA / AES/EBU / i2s outputs).

I have the Singxer SU-1. Great device, well built, great choice of clocks and thoughtfully designed. The only big weakness is the power supply. If you do the mods, either internal or with external power supply, you will be rewarded. Its amazing what this device is capable of.
 
Agreed, with the AG Zero XD, its S/PDIF output is as good (if not better) than that from my Lumin A1.

An external LPS mod is in the cards. Leter from Singxer did at one stage contemplate offering the SU-1 with a DC input jack (like the Lumin D1) but that didn't make it in the production units.

P/S. The Melco can be used with the Lumin / Kinsky or any OpenHome (OH) compatible app.

I have installed MinimServer and disabled Twonky.

The app though. Unless Bryston recognizes its deficiency, (which I don't think they do or they want to for some bizarre reason) BDP-3 is out of consideration for me. I currently use BDP-1.
 
I am using the latest version on Naim Uniti Core. Sounds really great and have a built in cd-drive for ripping. Uou can either use it as a NAS or directly connected to your dac.

Bryston BDP-2, using BNC, but agree about the app.

Mpad is the app which I employ most, but the developer has abandoned it, and if I keep updating the OS of my iPad, it will become unusable.

Soundirok is a newer app that works with the Bryston although I find it less intuitive.
