Anyone use or know about Bybee Internal Quantum Signal Enhancer and similar Bybee products?

Many years ago I had the Rotel 1095 and 1090 power amps and used some Bybee power cords I bought them used off of Audiogon. The amps are gone and so went the Bybee power cords. They served their purpose for my home theater system. I didn't even know Bybee was still selling products.
 
I have only tried a couple external Bybee products. Underwhelmed is a polite description. By By Bybee :hey:

And then there are those who question it. I have seen many oddball things in audio over the years and when I see something that does not have a good explanation, I ask questions and for experiences.

What are actually in the little boxes on MIT cables?

Yeah, the problem with statements like this is they do not speak in any real way to the actual problems they are solving from a practically significant* perspective.

For example, a key reason why we're seeing more and more companies move to optical fiber interfaces to stream from a music server to a streamer, streamer/DAC, network bridge, etc. is that optical does not carry high-source impedance leakage current (usually caused by SMPS). High-source impedance leakage current causes threshold jitter, which impacts timing. And our brains are exquisitely senstitive to timing errors when listening to music; we can discern timing errors in the picosecond domain, which is why our DACs, streamers, etc. require femtoclocks.

*–i.e., what matters in the real world. Ya know...where we all actually live. :P :lol:
 
Maybe someone should ask the US Navy how pleased they are with the noise reduction technology that Jack Bybee used that helps make our nuclear sub force the quietest on the planet.
You know... the ones that help keep the peace.

Can't argue that point but I doubt there aren't any of those ridiculous $3000 AC receptacles he's pushing on board !

The only reference I could find is this quote,in the first paragraph, from a review of one of his past products.
SoundStage! Equipment Review - Bybee Technologies Quantum Interconnect Filter (10/1998)

"Bybee worked for the Navy as a private contractor from 1971-1974 with the mission of designing wire technologies and power-purification systems to lower the already low noise floor of DC-powered passive sonar systems in submarines. In plain English, Jack translates that to mean "we had to be able to discern the noise of a whale burping from a Soviet Sub."

You can take the quote at face value and leave it at that...or not.

I can't believe people honestly and truly believe in this junk.
