I think there was a time when Stereophile declared the then top ASR model to be the best amp available. I believe Jim Smith (of "Get Better Sound") had one fairly recently and may still.

A friend of a friend has one, unfortunately I've never had the chance to hear it. I understand it sound very good. The owner had Legacy speakers but I think switched to Maggies.

Heard them several times in different systems the sound was always top notch. They lean more towards warm than bright, imo. They use an interesting topology with heavy use of op amps in the driver stages. The potential downside is being an integrated which means long speaker cable runs or stuck between the speakers.
