From 50hz I'd put these ATCs up against any $100k speaker out there. Ridiculously clean sound. Distortion is simply non-existant.

Bought these on a lark but would be hard to not keep em. I like these very much.

Unfortunately no. I have heard the new gen version of the SCM line though. They had a room at Axpona in Chicago this year and they did sound terrific.

How do you find the treble? I think this is the area these 19s could be improved, the tweeter not matching the quality of the ATC woofer, not very airy, kinda dull.

Well, the version I have at home, the old gen 19 has a pretty open and airy treble IMO. The speakers are highly revealing / resolving.
