I think around June 20th or so. I opted for the same color as my Sasha 2's and previous Sophia 3's - Carmon Red with Intense Metal Flake. I really like that color.

I had an astonishing audition with the Alexia's again today. The midrange and imaging really impressed me - the bass is also very clean. I'd say it's nothing like the Sophia 3 or even Sasha 2 bass.

That's great to hear! Beautiful color. What was the electronics? My Alexia's have taken 6 months to get "just right" in my challenging room. Hopefully you've got a nice room for yours.

I'm using all Shunyata Cabling - power cords, interconnects, and speaker cables. Also using Ayre electronics - QB-9 DSD DAC, KX-5 preamp, and VX-5 stereo amplifier. My room is about 14x17 but it opens to the right and to the left behind the listening seat. Not a perfect room, but I get great sound in here. I also have ASC Tube Traps and wall panels. When I added the Sasha 2's and Shunyata to my system, it improved quite a bit. I also use Shunyata's Triton and Typhon. I added everything incrementally, and have been able to assess the improvements little by little.

I'll be taking a breather after the Alexia's...might do mono blocks later this year, but Im pretty darn happy with my system right now.

Hello everyone, I am new here in Audioshark, I need some help finding the right cable for the Sasha2/Pass XA60.8 combo. I am currently on a tight budget and thinking about getting either the Transparent Musicwave Super or the Acoustic Zen Hologram II. Does anyone have a opinion/suggestion as of which might be a better match or if there is a better option in the $1300 range? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My Sasha 2's are on their way. Should be a couple of weeks and they will be here. Very excited. I chose Macademia though in my dark listening room that doubles as a dedicated theater they will likely look dark grey/black. My room is only 17x11.5 but my dealer is confident he can position them for success. The room is treated as it is a dedicated theater. I'll post impressions as soon as I can.

Thanks very much. I am considering AudioQuest Redwood and Wildwood speaker cables to pair with my Sasha 2's. Any opinions? I am using Auralic Merak mono blocks. Thanks.
 
I use Shunyata Anaconda with my Sasha 2's. They give better bass, believe it or not. I tried different cables. Alas, my Sasha 2's are going away Sunday - my Alexia's just arrived this morning. I traded in my Sasha 2's for the Alexia.

Thanks. I liked their clean bass, based on demos at my dealer. I get more bass on my Sasha 2's than my dealer, I think it's the Anacondas doing their magic. I can't wait to hear them on my Alexia's, after the dealer does the setup and WASP.

I'd love to read your thoughts on the differences between the two. I've heard Alexia but not Sasha2 yet. Can't wait.
