I am currently selling my VR5-SE speakers. My serial numbers are 0002L and 0002R which are early models. The gentleman I purchased them from was a lively character in Wilmington NC who was in the audio industry. He told me he knew Albert personally and he was the person who updated these speakers to full Anniversary MKII status, I do have Anniversary stickers. Here is the issue, there are no MKII stickers anywhere on my speakers. Am I correct the MKII update was a driver change to basically all the drivers? Can anyone give me a history on this last update? Yes I have messaged Von Schweikert in every way except smoke signals with no replies. I am getting many people interested in the speakers but question their MKII status. Thanks for your help.

The guys at PTA just did an interview with Damon and Dave McNair just reviewed a pair of their upper end speakers. Maybe they can help you get in touch with somebody at VSA.
 
Thanks Jack. Dave McNair lives in the city I just moved from so he is a relative neighbor.
