Any Issues w/Aurender & IOS 14?

I can't get my ACS10 to connect to the Conductor ap. The only thing different is I updated my iPad to IOS14.

I did the usual, reboot router/modem, shut down the ACS10. When I open the ap the ACS10 doesn't show, don't come up in search, nor will it add the new IP address. Is there a step I forgot?

I love the ACS10 but when stuff like this happens I think, what was I thinking.
 
Aurender says no issues with IOS14, they think it's a network issue but I've tried pretty much everything I know.

My ACS10 is on the network, they could see it, just not showing up in my Conductor ap for some reason.

Tonight I'll try shutting everything down and restarting but I don't know how that could help since ACS10 is on the network. I can also try reset of the ap.

Do you have an iPhone to see if the problem is unique to your iPad?
 
I never loaded ios 14, AS they are reporting issues with " We’re also seeing complaints about UI lag, AirPlay issues, Touch ID and Face ID issues, abnormal battery drain, issues with first and third-party apps, iMessage issues, Wi-Fi problems, Bluetooth problems, CarPlay issues, lockups, freezes, network issues and crashes." and their comment was to re-boot to correct. OK ! , I think I will wait.
 
Make sure the iPad and the Aurender are both on the same network and one is not 2.4 and the other 5 ghz. When you shut down and re-boot everything again leave the iPad shut down until everything else is up.

Thanks for posting this. I haven't updated my iPad yet and won't now until we see if your situation gets resolved. I have found in the past that on updates I have to reboot the Aurender. As you know it takes a while to reboot.
 
Thanks everyone. Problem solved. Mike says he is good and Auri says no issues with IOS14 and Aurender they are aware of.

So Auri was convinced it was a network issue, I was not as both ACS10 and iPad had a 1 in the proper spot of the IP address as well as I had done all the rebooting routines. That just left the iPad, I began digging into the settings menus and found somewhere it said "Aurender" I clicked on that and saw a setting that says "connect to local network" and that somehow got switched off. I switched it on, brought up the Conductor and it began working as if nothing had happened, I didn't even have to sign in or do anything in the Conductor ap. I never knew Aurender was in the iPad settings like that and stumped how it got switched.

Seems so simple but maddening. I guess that's how you learn though.

Thanks for the update. Glad it is working. I'm updating as I post (from another PC).

Update Complete: It's working. I just had to re- register both of my Aurenders.
 
I’m currently acting as a beta tester for the new Aurender iPhone app. Oh boy, do I like it! It’s one of those apps you’re using and thinking “yeah, that’s exactly how I would lay it out.”

Thanks. I've been checking weekly for the new app release. This will be great.

Can you let us know how soon is soon? Days, weeks, months? I talked to the rep about a year ago and he said the same thing. And how do you become a beta tester? Thanks!

It may not be a big deal to some but it is surprising that a product that has been in the market for so long still does not have a phone app.
 
I don't know, the Conductor ap has a lot going on the screen,, it will be interesting to see how it fits a phone and if all options will be there. I would think being accessible to Android tablets would be the most important before phone but I think that's arriving as well.

Oh it does. Stay tuned. I’ve been a beta tester. It’s a superb iPhone app. Even in beta, far more stable than buggy Roon. As always, YMMV.

Since you have Two Aurender machines does each machine have their own separate library or do they both share the same library?
