Any Audibile Illusions M3A Preamp Users here?

Hello. Just joined the site. Seems like a good one. I have 2 of these preamps. I love the sound. If there are any users/owners here, do you leave it on in standby mode as suggested by the manufacturer or do you unplug when not in use? Is tube life extended one way or the other in your experience? What tubes do you find, last the longest and sound great?
