Ansuz Cables

I asked the same question to Lars. His response was start with the highest level of power cord you can afford to feed your distribution box. From there it's IC's then speaker cable. So I think they would put power first, then IC's then speaker. You could go ceramic PC into Mainz8 then Aluminum for amps and source. Then maybe another Ceramic for preamp. The rest of the system could be all Aluminum.

Just an opinion on the Ansuz cables. We ran the Focal Scalas yesterday with Tara Labs IC's and Speaker Cables and I thought they sounded pretty darn good. When the Tara Labs came out and the Ansuz went in, I was floored. I didn't think you could improve on the Tara Omegas. The Ansuz blew me away. Incredible clarity, lowered noise floor and grunge and smoking bass. A worthwhile upgrade IMO.

I completely agree. Black black backgrounds too.

I would take the plunge and ask what is the difference between the A, C and D series (except for the material used for the connectors, which looks obvious)?
Right now I'm using a full loom of Siltech but then I benefit from full disclosure on the metallurgy, and also found out where in my system solid-core performs better (or worse) than stranded, copper better (or worse) than silver and so on... and big surprise (or rather not): in some position I got better results with the less expensive models. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to ask the dealer for a suitcase full of Ansuz cables for a home trial, so I kind of have to rely on hearsay (and the couple of systems wired with Ansuz that I could listen to).

I'm running 15amp, not dedicated. I would run dedicated 20's if I could. As my buddy says "that's listening with your suspenders wide open!"
