Another NFL Season Unfolds

Yep, yer 9er QB didn't have the best day. Its a long season. (As a Hawks fan, I kinda hope he has a lot more bad days, but he's a great athlete so I don't suppose that'll be the case.) Interesting the home and away Hawks-49ers contests are just two weeks apart, in the latter part of the season. GO HAWKS!
 
My buddy and I were talking about how great it would be to go to Century Link this year. I'd love to experience the 12th man...I'd also love to get out of there with a "W." :P
 
Bring earplugs. Even knocking 15-20 db off the volume in that place, it is still ear-health threateningly loud. I wonder sometimes how to tell a great play from the rest of them, the volume is too constant in that place, just a full throttle roar the whole time. I repeat, bring earplugs!
 
Eagles and Colts didn't disappoint! Luck loses two regular season games in a row for the first time. What happened to ex-Giant Hakeem Nicks? Hurt again? What a surprise! ;)

Definitely some exciting football in the first two weeks. There's a reason the NFL is widening the gap between it and the rest of professional sports...and please I don't want to hear about the other "football." :D Apples and Oranges IMO.
 
Tampa Bay getting run out of the stadium at half-time. Time to invoke the mercy rule! TB is a bad team.
 
End of third and Atlanta up 56-0. This is embarrassing. Atlanta 457-138 total offense. Even the broadcasters can't wait for the game to end.

First the DV this week and now this awful show by TB.

The NFL is a complete mess right now. The on field product is amazing but what a joke corporate wise. Time for a new CEO ( I mean
commisioner).

This whole thing about having some fix in place by the Superbowl in 2015 is B.S. So what happens when some other player is accused of abuse, will the commissioner decide on 1 game, 2 -3 game suspension. I tell ya, the NFL is broke and this guy is waiting till 2015 to come up with a fix. Goodell should grow some balls and make a decision and some rules.
 
Giants finally win a game against the hapless Texans. Yes I know the Texans were 2-0 coming into MetLife Stadium but they must have played the Sunny Hills Nursing Home Team. Fitzpatrick is not a starting QB and has proven that in several stops in his career. Only question is whether Fitzpatrick throws more TDs or INTs in a game.

Best game of day was easily the rematch between the Seahawks and Broncos. What a game! Peyton rallies for a score at the end of the fourth quarter and the Broncos make the two point conversion. Then the Seahawks take the opening kickoff of overtime and march down the field and score!!!!
 
I'd gladly trade "great" games and matchups for a W :mad:.

What can I say...I'm a hypocrite. Excitement and drama are only good if my team wins. For now, it sucks balls...
 
Had the Seahawks game on record while I worked in the yard yesterday. Watched some then went to dinner, so I didn't know the outcome until late in the evening. My poor wife, who's a huge fan, had to go to bed and couldn't stay up for overtime. Sadly, I woke her up when Lynch leaped into the endzone. GO HAWKS! That was a great contest.
 
Eagles are looking pretty good this year also but I hate that they prefer to come from behind all the time. Yesterday's game was pretty exciting for half of it, the 20 minute Punt Fest was a bit boring tho. They now own an NFL Record for winning the first 3 games coming from a deficit of 10 points or more.
