Annoying Ad's

What is the best way to get rid of all the ad's here.

Is it just part of the site or can you eliminate them?

I understand the site must pay for itself but these are annoying.
 
It's a necessary part of the site.....the ad revenue helps to pay the cost of the site which you enjoy for free.
 
haha!!! where else can you find a asian wife without even looking for one. i am so tempted to click on one of them just to see where it takes me but im scared to do it so i never have.
and i love when my shopping cart from soudstage direct keeps following me around reminding me to go buy those records.
this is my favorite place on the internet to hang out at. what ever is on the side or top of the page doesnt matter at all. whatever helps pay for it ,im all for it.

lol!!!! i never searched for an asian wife.or any wife. but i like to see a pretty girl on the side of the page while here.
i never searched for any type of ski vacation, but vale colorado is on top of the screen right now.
 
Yall must have some odd things set up. The only thing I see while on this page is at the very top right a ' high power DAC analog.com ' and on the top right a Sprint add and that's the only area the adds appear depending on what forum post your on.
 
I get different ads pop up depends on my work computer and personnel note book. ( I get better looking ad on my note book ;) )
 
Yeah, actually the "sensitive" ads have a higher payout so they are shown relatively often unless you choose not to show them. I'd suggest that whoever is in charge of such things here go to your https://www.google.com/adsense/app#allowAndBlockAds page and block at least the "worst" 3 ad types (IMO) - Dating, References to Sex and Sexuality, and Sexual & Reproductive Health. Your revenues will probably decrease a very small amount but IMO it's worth it. YMMV.
 
Sigh....I already make up the difference each month, what's a little more right? Sigh....

It's really easy to spend other peoples money for your convenience. But really????

If it's a big enough deal then I guess donations will go up.

Personally - I don't care. I've learned to ignore and press the delete key. I've got 30 seconds a day for bs ads.

OK - just so we're clear - I wasn't recommending decreasing the number of ads shown - just blocking the ones some members consider offensive so that other ones appear in their place. There are several ways to make up the lost revenue (if there is any) without showing such ads.

Meh - why did I bother?
 
I know that ad's are a necessary evil to keep the site afloat but thought maybe there was some type of ad-blocker software available. I guess not.

Is it just me or everyone? I am seeing links from many different words, as in they are highlighted in green. Also when I click on a thread another page opens up as well on a relevent topic of the thread but another site.

I don't see that, which is probably a good thing..

But kev, I know your enjoying the "Rock Your World Cover Girl sponsor adds LOL , now I'm wondering why Mike is having Cover Girl as a sponsor add or the Asian dating sponsor:)
 
If everyone Donates and does more often there would be no need for the ads. My guess, only a small % have donated.
