<span><strong>November 1, 2013 - </strong>Reference Recordings announced the first SACD release in a new series with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra that captures their thrilling live performances in brilliant audiophile sound! </span>In time for Richard Strauss' 150th birthday in 2014, this new recording presents three of Strauss' Tondictungen: <em>Don Juan</em>; <em>Death and Transfiguration</em>; and <em>Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks. </em></p>

<span>This release is planned as the first in a series of multi-channel hybrid SACD recordings on FRESH! from Reference Recordings. Several additional recordings for the PITTSBURGH LIVE! series are already completed and we expect to release two per year. The next title planned is Bruckner's Fourth Symphony, for spring 2014. </span></p>
