Announcing Sabrina

I do not have an MSRP yet. I would hate to quote. Let's just say it will come in under the Sophia (which is at around $22,000).

Deb...isn't the Sophia in the $17-18K range?? I may be way off but that's what I remember. Actually just checked in the Oct. 2014 Stereophile Recomended Components issue and it lists the MSRP at $17.9K. So sounds like Sabrina is going to come in under $18K.

Cyril - there were some price increases recently (June/July). Could be that??

Mike...could be but going from $18 to $22k sounds like a serious price hike to me (+22%). But I am sure Deb will clarify when she gets a chance.

There have been price increases over this past year, unfortunately. Costs to manufacture in the US.... need I say more?

Thx Deb. So the $22K is right. You may want to let the folks at Stereophile know about updated pricing because as of the October issue which had their 500 Recommended Components feature, the Sophia still had the $17.9K pricing. This way they can publish a correction in next issue so readers will know updated pricing.

Will do. Thank you for the heads up!

Thank you Dan, That is the most information I have seen anywhere.

I still like what I call that Cylon influenced design of the big speaker on the right better. Then again I'm also a sucker for blue lights and am attracted to shiny things.:) So, I'm not talking sound obviously.
I take it that these will also be at the west coast show in June?

Saw the static display today. They are so tiny!

Really? They don't look tiny in the picture, but they don't look monstrous either. Could be about the same size as my big Paradigms, maybe a bit wider. I wonder how much those weigh.

36" tall, three feet is on the low end for towers.

First, the speaker is 38" tall, and the tweeter has very good above the listening axis response.

At $15K, an easy to drive WA 3-way priced between the Magico S1 $12.6K 2-way and the S3 $22.6K 3-way, might appeal to a lot of buyers with small to medium size listening rooms.

Its so tiny!

Look at the photo of Mark standing beside it.
