An interesting read

Harley's credibility has suffered so much over the past 10 years or so (starting with the 4 part article by Chuck Zellig that was, in the words of Charles Hansen and John Atkinson, "not credible", and continuing with ongoing misinformation about MQA - not how it sounds, but how it (doesn't) work as advertised) that it is easy to see how manufacturers can arrive at these conclusions.

I also think that as an editor he needs to do more to supervise his writers. There have been too many reviews of highly compressed (e.g., DR6-7) releases that get 4 or 5 stars for "sound quality". That just doesn't work IMHO.
