Americana at it's Best !

What a celebration of our 250th, Big Boy crossing the Susquehanna river over the longest stone arched bridge in the world 7/7/26. met up with some of my fellow retired RR buds to witness it in person. The myriad of videos out there does not do this beast justice, a marvel of engineering at the time (1941)

My cousin sent videos from his home of it crossing the river in Binghamton. Not sure if it was crossing the Chenago or Susquehanna River. Here’s a screen shot.
