AMC Dine-In Cimema

We saw "This Is Where I Leave You" today. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I liked all the characters. Usually in a cast of this size there is one or two people that a written to be unlikeable. Jason Bateman is one of those actors that I like everything he does. We went to the new AMC "Dine In Cinema" theater near us. We walk in go to the kiosk and choose your movie, then a seating chart shows up and you choose your seats. Go in and there are maybe 80 seats with wide walkways between the rows and nice big seats that recline electronically. Nice sturdy trays are there to swing over in front of you after you are seated. Menus are located between the seats along with condiments and napkins. When your ready to order, there is a button to press and a waitress comes and takes your order. All worked well and I may never go to a regular theater again.

Cool idea Jack. Was there a lot of noise though (clanging of utensils on plates, etc)?

Surprisingly there wasn't Mike and some people got their food after the movie started. They did have metal utensils and plastic plates and glasses but it wasn't a problem. I felt I was making a lot of noise as I was eating the ice in my soda glass during the movie. There are two huge armrests between you and the next pair of seats, so you never feel like you're too close to your neighbor. We settled our bill after the movie, so you weren't disturbed with that. I never thought it would be that much of a positive experience.
