AMBER and JRiver settings

I just received a new AMBER DAC/AMP from Lampizator - traded in a GA TRP. It's all hooked up, plugged in and turned on. I'm using a Windows 8 machine with JRiver to send music to the Amber. Previously this worked fine with the GA TRP and before that a Big 7. But now I get errors from JRiver - I've updated the Amanero drives as well.

The error is:
Playback could not be started on the output 'ASIO' using the format ''44.1 KHZ 2ch'. The output format is not supported by your hardware.

Any suggestions/advice here? What should the settings in JRiver be?
Or is there a different/better software I should use?

How does it compare with the GA TRP and Big 7 that you had before?
