Amazon Music HD streamer

Any streamers out there, besides BluOS players, that support native bitrate and sample rate of Amazon Music HD?

Thanks for the link, I remember looking at that list before and didn’t see anything interesting. I’m looking into upgrading my Bluesound Node 2i but I’m not really finding anything that would support it.
 
The best of the bunch on that list would probably be the Bel Canto if you can find it somewhere with a return policy to try. Until Amazon releases their API the top level streaming companies are going to be shut out which may be their intention.

Is the API used by BluOS not available to other companies?
 
Not at this time and apparently no timetable in place to release it. I would assume it's a fee based contractual agreement.
 
Interesting, does that mean that Amazon doesn’t want to make it available to other manufacturers, or do other manufacturers not want to do it or pay for it, or are we just waiting for others to implement it?

Here is a quote from a Roon official on the Roon Community discussion board:

“We’ve had discussions with Amazon Music about an integration but they haven’t agreed to anything. Roon’s streaming service integrations require more than an API, which is what most services provide. We need daily catalog database dumps from partner services, and providing them requires some resources to implement and maintain.”

What is your actual affiliation with DRmare? Every post you have made on this forum since joining involves pushing this one piece of software.
