I just ordered a pair of these on the recommendation of dealer I trust and can't help but notice just how ugly they are. Very ugly. Fortunately they are going into a dedicated listening room and only I have to see them but did I mention the ugly part?

Anyone have any thoughts on these or owned a pair? This is the latest version, only available in hideous gray finish.

Thx for the vote of confidence! The dealer "swears" they are not as ugly in person. Hopefully in a few weeks I can see them in person once they arrive.
 
I think they look great. They are supposed to sound awesome, especially with tube amps. I'd love to own a pair.

Just enjoy them.
 
They are hideous.

But they are supposed to sound very nice.

Perhaps put them behind an acoustically transparent wall of fabric? :p
 
I am definitely looking forward to hearing them and doing some tube rolling in the process. One upside is that most everyone seems to agree they sound much better then they look. Looking forward to finding out.
 
I had a pair of the previous version, and really liked them. I sold them when I scaled down to one system. Now I am back to two systems, and wish I still had them.

Dealer tells me the resale has gone up on the previous version that still could be had in beautifully finished veneers before they went to the one finish fits all Space Shuttle interior paint

Those have rave reviews from all over. ...And they look beautiful in the right finish and room's decor and with proper stands. :)
