Record weights can help out out in many different ways. They help flatten a warped record, help reduce background noise/motor rumble and help maintain motor speed. The worst thing you could do is use a record clamp that screws down onto the record, there's no consistency with this method and you could make the warp worse by overtighten the clamp. Weights are just a better solution.

Just shop around for different weigths and you'll see they are missing a few things. A piece of metal with a hole will work but you'll get more out of vinyl with our Reference Weight.

Features and specifications:
Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum
445grams or .98lbs
1.500" tall by 2.960" in diameter
Grooves for easy handling and installation
Fits all tables
.02" deep pocket on the bottom of the weight to overcome record hole or label buldge
Radius on spindle hole for ease of use

We are selling these for $55!! Paypal only! No Paypal fees!!
Free shipping to all 50 states. International shipping is a $15 charge.

Hello Matt,

Interested in your record weight. You say no International shipment, do you include Canada in International? I bother to ask as some vendors often make an exception for Canada.

I saw your amp design from another forum. You must be good in wood works too! Your amp design has 'killer' looks. I will check your thread every now and then.

Matt, post those Aluminati Record Weights of yours over at WBF; you might sell few more there too. :exciting:
... Many vinyl lovers over at WBF.

------------ :derf: ;)

I don't think i would be allowed to, it says no companies allowed. I'm not really an official company but rather a DIY hobby gone mad!! lol

I've sold around 15 on Audiocircle :)

I've machined wood a few times, makes a huge mess but it's way more accurate when compared to a hand saw :)

Matt, just add a note in your sig: Aluminati Designer. ...That's all; I think that should do. ...And if uncertain just ask Amir, or Steve.
And at worst you can at least post a picture or few of them; and that, is totally permissible. :)

* That's great that you're doing good over at AudioCircle. ...I certainly don't! :D

Received my order today. Fast, efficient transaction and item received as ordered! Very professionnal looks to booth.

Thanks Matt!

Yes, you were right Matt; WBF has no advertising whatsoever, and has no dealing either (buy & sell section).
Indeed, a very different audio site than any other one. ...One of the reasons why I like it over there.

And if you are an audio dealer or an audio writer you have to disclose it. ...That way there is no confusion at all. ...And your bias is honestly in check.
It's tough sometimes (raw), but it develops your overall character positively. ...I think.
And the sources of information are from high caliber guns (experts & all). ...Not always the best but fun nonetheless.

Thanks guys!!

Been in talks with a company to get a batch of tonearms to make some sweet tables, my first love in audio :)
