Almost 10,000 - can you believe it?

I checked the other day and we are fast approaching on member 10,000. It seems like yesterday I launched the site and couldn't believe we had 9 members in the first day! :)

We have a tremendous amount of traffic, hits, unique visitors and all the key analytics. What I would like to see is more new discussions and topics. Starting threads to create animosity like some bozos do on other sites is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about topics you're interested in. Hey, my old brain is running out of ideas! Come on guys, you're all smarter than me. If you're thinking of something related to audio or a hobby, chances are, someone else is too. So, I encourage all of you to start a thread of something you're interested in.

Thank you to all of you for making the journey to 10,000 and beyond such fun.

Congrats and sincere thanks to Mike for managing such an unbiased and balanced forum, which apparently from looking at most alternatives is not an easy task! :celebrate008_2:

But it is so hard to choose among all of the enticing flavors!!
Really awesome to have such a great place to come together and share our passion and you have made that possible in such a special way.
Better yet are the friendships that are forged that transcend and enhance what brought us together in the first place.
 
Can I believe it? Yes!

Congratulations. It is nice to read different opinions without (or very little) arguing. I do have to admit this site has cost me a lot of money over the last few years, but it is money well spent. :)

Bud, meeting you last year was one of the highlights of the year. Thanks for making the long journey to Florida and thank you for the kind words.
 
Congrats Mike on creating a great place to visit. Hard to believe it's been almost five years. And like Bud a lot of money later. :congrats:
