I am sad to learn Al Jarreau passed away in the hospital. He has been a favorite jazz performer with me for several decades. He won seven Grammys and is considered one of the best R&B singers of all time.

Rest in Peace Al. You will be missed.

Yes, he will be missed. As a Milwaukee native and current resident, he has always been a beacon of goodwill for our city. He's also one of those performers that was as animated performing live as he was on his recordings. Planning on putting on LP "Glow" tonight... RIP
