Only heard these so far. What is the next set of DHT tubes I should try and get for my GG balanced for different capability/sound? Psvane 101d replicas? We 101ds (good luck on that)? Nos 45's? KR PX4s? WE275As (are they even useable?). 300B (not sure if useable in GG Balanced)?
 
Px4 & 101d replicas. If 300B allowed (cant recall) then as a value play, try the PSVANE UK Design 300b. The NU 45 ST shape from the 1950s have killer liquid midrange and are like $50 each.

Cant recall offhand which tubes are allowed in the Balanced.

If I were you, I would be more into the recti search that complements those Globes:

Metal base Phillips GZ34, Fat bottle GZ37, the Brimar 5Z4 (cheap), the Haltron/Zaerix/Fivre double Mica 5r4gy, the WW2 RCA upward pointing double D getter 5r4gy (only $88), WE vintage 274B, Cossor U52 and the Footscray STC/Brimar 5R4gy unobtanium tubes. Big proops are given to the (expensive) Takatsuki 274B as well.
 
Already started collecting rectifiers :).

output tubes for balanced GG is more commitment (i.e. Expensive) so curious what output gives me most variety

2) Haltron/Zaerix/Fivre double Mica 5r4gy: Not sure what you mean by this one. Is it this? (several available)

3) Also from that discussion on rectifiers, there is mention on the French brand. Same seller as above has several available (btw, seller has automatic best offer acceptor. Tried up to $200. Out of tries. We can probably find he lowest acceptable offer if we try):

Andy from vintage tube services already set me up with two nos RCAs of right type. :) but that eBay link looks like good deal at $50 each.

as for neutron, it is that French tube mentioned in that thread I linked.
 
Hmm not sure if I just got 2 or 4 of the Haltron double mica 5r4gy. Assuming I have extra, anyone interested in one?
