Does anyone have experience with Acoustic Systems International (ASI) Reference Liveline cables? How does it compares to the previous version?

I'm especially interested in the power cable. I love the tone of the previous version and my only complain is current limiting even on Dacs. Reference power cable price doubled so has the current limiting issue been resolved?

Knghifi,

I was in the same question like you, till i pulled triggered to upgrade my liveline power cord to reference series from the local distributor. I would say, indeed it's open the soundstage wider, and make the asi character stronger ( airy, lively sound).

However, after i made my system full ansuz ceramic loom, that made me another move.

I'm not saying Ansuz smoked ASI ref, but they are in different character. Perhaps, if my decision to make them ASI ref. domain. It would make my system ended up with other character, but I didn't take a chance to do that unfortunately.

At the moment, i'm still using it on my 2nd system, together with the devialet. It's damping the SAM bass a bit, especially when my listening room is considered small size.

Milk_vanilla, thanks for sharing your experience.

Recently I replaced all my PCs with several Nordost Valhalla and Shunyata Sigma / Alpha. Improvements are amazing. Need several more so was considering High Fidelity Ultra or just 2 more Shunyata Sigmas.

I'm using a full loom of ASI ICs and SCs. These are the oldest components in my system that finally got me off the bus. Also HAD a loom of PCs so obviously I like the sound of Livelines. I'm going to trade-in one ASI PC + Euros for a reference directly with Franck.

I'll get a chance to experience Ansuz when I demo Audionet MAX in coming weeks.
