I used Artnovion and have been happy with the resultWhat are your sources for acoustic paneling? I have some that I got from an office supply company that are just fabric wrapped, but I see a lot of photos where folks have very tasteful panels with wood designs like this. What are your sources for good panels?

Have a look at GIK Acoustics. You can send them pictures of your room and they will recommend a treatment set up for you.
I use GIK as shown in my avatar. For me their quality control was not the best but I do have more than 30 of them
My room is about 20' x 40" plus a large HT area. I can't say it is totally dedicated since I often have a 4 year old grandson that likes to fill the back half of it with lots of toys.
and dont forget tubetraps
Sometimes less is more. Keeping the energy of the music should be a priority. I started putting sound dampening panels, diffusers and bass traps throughout my room and it got to the point that the room and music sounded clear but lifeless. So, I started to remove the dampening panels and focused on diffusers. Keeping the energy of the room has turned my room into a much better listening experience. The size, shape and room dynamics are to me the starting point. A simple clap can reveal a lot as well as walking around the room while music is playing and just listening.
Of course having a professional test and evaluate your needs can save a lot time. But, what is the fun in that.
