Acoustic panel for flat TV

They are attached only on top of the panel

Hi
Yes, you're right. Gravity will definitely do its job naturally if the TV is tilted as you described.
I don't think I'm explaining the situation clearly enough. Please let me clarify. The bottom of the TV is about 8" closer to the wall that it's mounted on than the top is (so it tilts down in the direction of the couch, not up in the direction of the ceiling and not perfectly vertical), meaning that gravity would work against the possibility of the panels laying flat against the TV if there is no provision for securing them to the bottom of the screen. I would guess that the panel hanging free that far away from the bottom of the TV screen would maybe put stress on the top "hooks".

A lot of people I know, not to mention many businesses, bars, restaurants, etc. have their TV's on the wall and tilted downward, so I'd be surprised if I was the only one who has asked this. Thanks for your time.

As mentioned, gravity will cause the lower part of the panel to stand off from the TV by an amount determined by the angle at which the TV is tilted.
If the lower part of the panel is separated from the TV by up to 5 cm due to gravity, this will not cause any issues with the acoustic panel hanging element.
