I've been known to spin a bit of Country Music now and again. Last night I was listening to George Strait and realized his material is really well produced. What I have is before they applied a bunch of compression and comparatively for the genre it is good.

Here's a cut, normally i'm not a big Texas Swing fan but this track caught my attention, for the above reasons plus sound stage, so here it is FWIW on YT.

I don't have any Lovett, what would be a good album to check out if I like more traditional Country like Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakum etc.

Don't care for the Pop that goes for Country today.

Lyle's more from the Texas style of country in someways similar to Dwight with a touch of Texas Swing. Pontiac is his most acclaimed album though the recording quality is good on pretty much all of them.

Joshua Judges Ruth is one of the best produced albums I have ever heard. George Massenburg engineered and produced. I wouldn't say it is traditional country but it is worth hearing. This is coming from someone who does not care for country :)

That is indeed an album that is wonderfully mastered & very easy to listen to.
