Accuphase Integrated

Rusty, I'm driving Salon 2's ! I need more power !

Yes, 86.4db, 6ohms, see what you mean, but if you think the E-460 will drive them, I think the E-560 will drive them better.
It's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
If the E-560 actually delivers 60w class A into 8ohms (as Audio mag says they do) that's what, 90w into 6ohms?
My SummitX are 91db, 4ohms, but dip to 0.8ohms at 20kHz.
The E-560 drives them effortlessly, and I can't imagine how hard you'd have to drive this amp before it got hot. I don't think it's possible in a domestic situation.
Re heat emitted, it's only warm, nothing like what I expected, and as I've said elsewhere, cooler (temp) than any classA/B amp I've ever had.
Try it anyway. If it's not powerful enough, you either need to go to Vitus RI-100 or separates.
You'll know by playing complex orchestral pieces (loudly), bass-heavy track (ditto). :eyebrow:
If it starts getting mushy, you'll know. :snicker:
Hmm, which pre with A-200 monoblocs? Or A-65 if you'd prefer a stereo amp.
Look, I'm smitten with what these Accuphase classA things do.
_You_have_to_listen_to_them_.
Then decide.
560? 600? Who cares? Both are excellent.
BTW, those Revels look glorious. Impressive specs, and you _do_ have to find the right amp.
You won't be satisfied till then.

Mark, what are you talking about? ...Aren't you satisfy enough with your Classe CA-M600 monoblocks?!!

...Must be windy in Nortex. :tumbleweed:

Bob, the Classe' amps are wonderful ! I'm just playing around to see if there is something that I like more.

Rusty, My dealer is an Accuphase dealer, he has all the of the goodies you mentioned. I'll be trying some of his demo gear at home in the coming months.

When I heard the E-560 it was driving Raidho D3s very very well. And I would not call the D3s an easy load at all.
