Acarian Alon IV's - Opinions Sought

There's a pair of what I believe to be the last revision of Alon IV's for sale locally. If I were to buy 'em, they would replace some Sony SS-M7's, and be driven by Forte electronics. Any thoughts/opinions on strengths/weaknesses, and how they might stack up against the Sony's would be appreciated.

I forget exactly that model but I've had Alon Signature speakers for 9 years and loved them. More recently had Nola Micro Grand Reference and loved them too. Alon/Nola have such a great musical sound that's easy to listen to for hours. As long as they are in great shape you probably can't go wrong. Nola are made here in NY. You may want to send Carl an email asking about future service should it be necessary.
